Hunting down working promo codes in Pokémon GO can feel like chasing a Shiny without a boosted spawn rate. Niantic regularly drops free avatar gear, consumables, and event-tied rewards, but many codes carry short expiration windows or region locks.
To save you time, we test these codes directly on Niantic’s official redemption portal to confirm which ones actually work. Here are all the active, verified freebies available right now for September 2026.
Active Pokémon GO Promo Codes – September 2026
- LEGOxPOKEMONGOxCAP – Unlocks Bonus Timed Research for the 2026 LEGO® Pokémon Cap avatar item, 1,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust, and berries (Reward varies slightly in non-participating regions to include Poké/Great/Ultra Balls & a Lucky Egg).
- LEGOxPOKEMONGOxBERRIES – Rewards 10x Poké Balls, 5x Razz Berries, 5x Pinap Berries, and 5x Nanab Berries.
- MLBxPOKEMONGO2026 – Rewards the official 2026 MLB-branded T-shirt avatar item.
- FENDIxFRGMTxPOKEMON – Rewards the FENDI x FRGMT x POKÉMON avatar hoodie.
Note on code sensitivity: Capitalization doesn’t usually matter on the Niantic Web Store, but copying and pasting the exact string ensures you don’t accidentally add space characters at the end.

How to Redeem Pokémon GO Promo Codes on Web Browser
Niantic streamlined code redemption by shifting all redemptions—for both iOS and Android users—to their web browser platform. In-game promo code boxes on Android have been removed to standardize the system across platforms.
-
Go to the official Niantic Offer Redemption Page in any web browser.
-
Sign in using the credentials linked to your Pokémon GO account (Google, Facebook, Apple ID, or Pokémon Trainer Club).
-
Enter or paste the active promo code into the text box.
-
Click Apply.
-
Open (or restart) the Pokémon GO app on your mobile device. A confirmation pop-up will show the items or avatar gear added to your inventory.
Fixing “Invalid Code” or “Account Not Recognized” Issues
-
“This offer code has expired or is invalid”: Double-check for typos or trailing spaces. If the code is entered correctly, it means the global redemption cap or time window has passed.
-
“Account not recognized”: Ensure you are logging into the web store with the exact same method (e.g., Google vs. PTC) attached to your main profile in the game app.
-
Items not showing up: If you redeemed a code while the game was open, force-close the Pokémon GO app and restart it to refresh your inventory sync.
